Introduction
The world is changing fast, everything is going to be new and different and some older traditions are vanishing. Life is getting easier in many regards and more complicated in others. Technologies are ever evolving and cultures are changing.
It’s been decades now that we got used to online shopping. It’s often much easier to sit in our comfort zone, checking various websites in different places to search for the products that we want, in the exact color, the exact form and the material that we have in mind.
When I was younger, I remember for buying a shirt or a dress, I had to spend hours and sometimes days, going to different shops in hope of maybe finding something comfortable and fitting for me. And oftentimes the final choice was not the best choice because I was too tired and exhausted and I just wanted to finally buy whatever I was searching, so after spending that much time, I was making myself satisfied with the limited choice that I had.
When the internet came to our life, things got easier and easier and communication has more possibilities than ever. People can talk with one another from different places and that was so exciting, and still is.
Technologies grow faster than we did, and sometimes it offers us some options that are equally great for us and our environment. One of those options is the “On-Demand System”.
What is an on-demand system?
It’s simply what the name implies, meaning “you demand and we make it for you”, which makes it quite interesting and customer-based. The on-demand system offers you thousands of products with thousands of designs, colors, models, and ideas. It gives you this opportunity to sit at your couch or office desk and look through various offers to find out what suits you best, then you order it and that product will be produced just for you!
How on-demand makes your style so unique
In the traditional way of producing, companies usually make thousands of products in same model, same colors and fixed designs, so if someone is seeking something specific or unique, they have to search and search and sometimes they can’t find what they really want.
But the on-demand system gives you a lot of freedom in choosing. You can simply order a t-shirt from your favorite painter, band, or even your favorite rug! What could be more unique than this?
So if you are a person with an acquired taste in style, for your clothing or your home decor, the on-demand system could easily be your favorite way of shopping.
Is the on-demand system better for environment?
Yes! Just think about of all those unnecessary t-shirts, shoes, bags or other objects that have been made in huge numbers and never sold out. Or how many times we bought something random because we followed an urge or didn’t have a better option and it just stays in our closet forever.
You know how much unnecessary products like this have been made?
With the on-demand system, you get exactly what you want and it is created in just the amount that is actually ordered. The on-demand system helps to avoid that the industry is over-producing billions of unnecessary products and in this way we protect our environment.
What kind of on-demand products does Grend Gallery offer?
For now, Grend Gallery works with two types of on-demand systems:
- print-on-demand (POD)
- knit-on-demand (KOD)
Currently, you can find a collection of dresses, t-shirts, pillows and tote bags on our website.
With knit-on-demand, we (will) offer you 4-color machine made, very high quality of knitware, such as sweaters, pillows, blankets and bags.
How long does it take until you receive your order?
Since your products are not made yet, the production processes begins as soon as we receive your order. Some products’ bases are already pre-made, for an example the plain t-shirts or cotton bags. These are simply entered into the printer, they get their high quality print, then go to their comfortable packages and fly all across the world to meet you as their one and only owner. In this case, it shouldn’t take more than 2 weeks until you receive your order, depending on your location.
But some products are a bit more complicated, such as knitware or all-over-printed products.
As soon as we receive your order, these products need to be made from ground up. The dresses are separate pieces of white fabric which are printed one by one, dried and then go to the hands of a tailor to be sewn together, just for you.
The knitted products share a similar story. First, the yarns are knitted to the individual pieces in the knitting machine, then a tailor sews the pieces together. After the quality check, the product is nicely packaged and flies directly to your house. This processes might take a little bit longer, approximately between 3 weeks and maybe a month.
How about the pictures on the website, are they real?
Our mock-up pictures are made digitally to give you a good view for how the product will look once it’s created. These are not photos of the finished products, but that doesn’t mean that they differ from the real product. They are very similar to each other and, if you ask us, the products look even better in reality.

As you can see, while the mock-up is quite faithfully depicting the finished products, the material, design and color quality are better in reality.
Can I get a design in a different color combination?
Yes, just contact us and let us know what you have in mind. We can adjust all the designs’ colors exactly to your wishes. In general, we take a fee of 10$ / 10€ for adjusting the color combinations. This will be added to your first order of an altered design / model.
